Orfeur Cooke-Yarborough

Orfeur lived at Campsmount with his family. His father George was a local magistrate and Orfeur worked as a Land Agent. During the First World War he served with the Royal Flying Corps. He was at the top end of the age restrictions for active service, and was 37 years old when he joined up in 1915. He married Anne Wyatt in Lincolnshire in August 1916 and survived the war. He died in Cheshire in 1965.
