(Mary) Alice Cooke-Yarborough was born in 1874. Alice resided with her family at Campsmount. Alice served with the Red Cross during the First World War and was living with her sister Violet in Kensington when she signed up in December 1914. Aside from three months and a small interval, Alice served the whole of the war as a masseuse at Loversall Hall, Doncaster. Alice died unmarried in May 1969 in Bournemouth.
