The King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry at War, is a changing programme of temporary exhibitions telling the story of the regiment in each centenary year at the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Museum at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery. Exhibitions will use a combination of personal testimonies and original objects to illustrate the regiment’s role in the conflict from outbreak to Armistice.
The second exhibition in this series, ‘From Don to Somme’ presents the regiment’s experience of war in 1916. The exhibition will run from January – December 2016.
